According to the latest information provided by the Florida Department of Transportation
(“FDOT”), Blue Angel Parkway is currently being studied for a potential future road widening project.
This project is currently in the PD&E (Project Development & Environmental) Phase, which is anticipated to be completed by mid-year 2026. The FDOT is currently anticipating holding a public hearing in the spring of this year (2025) to discuss the development of the study.
The purpose of this project study is to evaluate widening Blue Angel Parkway from two to four lanes. The total distance of the study is approximately 7 miles in length.
