Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency Provides Updated Information Regarding Bannerman Road Widening Project in Leon County

Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency (“Blueprint”), a joint City of Tallahassee and Leon County governmental organization, recently indicated that it plans to begin construction on the Bannerman Road widening project in Leon County by late 2025. The first phases of the Bannerman Road widening project that Blueprint plans to construct are the Orchard Pond Trail Extension, Bull Headly intersection improvements and the eastern stormwater improvements.

In addition, Blueprint anticipates completing additional design plans for the entirety of the Bannerman Road widening project in early 2026. To complete this project, Blueprint plans to acquire a large number of parcels of private property via eminent domain from property owners along the Bannerman Road corridor.
