The Florida Department of Transportation (“FDOT”) recently released 90% construction plans for the third segment of its US 319 road widening project in Crawfordville, Florida, which is located in Wakulla County. This third segment (heading from North to South) of the US 319 widening project begins near East Ivan Road and ends at Lost Creek Bridge. This segment of the US 319 road widening project will impact significant segments of commercial property including the commercial district in downtown Crawfordville.
These 90% plans indicate that the FDOT will be widening 319 to four lanes, and 212 parcels are planned to be acquired to complete this segment of the US 319 road widening project.
The Fixel Law Firm – a Florida law firm that represents private property owners in eminent domain matters – has received the FDOT’s 90% construction plans and has carefully reviewed them for its affected clients.
