The Florida Department of Transportation (“FDOT”) plans to replace the County Road 99A/Boggy Creek Bridge in Escambia County.  As an initial step in the progress of this project, the FDOT’s contract engineers have drafted and recently released preliminary construction plans.  These construction plans indicate that the FDOT plans to acquire (by eminent domain, if needed) three parcels of Escambia County property, and to do so, the FDOT has budgeted over $50,000 in right-of-way acquisition funds for the fiscal year 2016.
